Big on nature.

Big Blue started out to do it differently, and more than twenty-five years later that is still true. Fewer people means more wildlife, more time in the water and a lighter footprint on the places we love.

The logbook

“We were impressed that when we arrived at our first stop, Mikey and Jane got in the water to assess the quality of snorkeling. It wasn't up to their standard so they took us to another location.”

Good
questions.

What if the weather is bad?

If conditions are unsafe, Big Blue contacts you to reschedule or cancel. There is no cancellation charge if you are not able to reschedule.

What is the cancellation policy?

100% refundable when cancelled 21 days or more before departure, 50% between 8 and 20 days, and non-refundable 7 days or less before. A 5% admin fee applies to refunds.

Is there a discount for more than one trip?

Yes. Book 3 or more adventures directly by phone or email and the discount applies to your entire invoice.

What should I bring?

Towel, hat, sunglasses, a long-sleeve top and a camera. Mask, fins and snorkel (Cressi, kids' sizes too) and water are provided.

Which sunscreen is allowed?

Only 100% biodegradable mineral sunscreen (zinc oxide or titanium dioxide). It protects the reef, and reef-safe options are sold at the shop.

Are trips suitable for children?

Yes. The 2 and 4 hour eco tours are ideal for families, children under 12 pay a lower rate, and private charters are the best option with young kids. Kiteboarding and scuba have minimum ages.

Where do trips leave from?

Around 90% of trips leave from the Big Blue dock in Leeward, next to Blue Haven Marina. Kite lessons are at Long Bay, through the Shore Club entrance.
